Prisma has partnered with Piñata to provide on-time credit reporting to residents.
For residents to opt out, follow the steps below:
- In the Prisma Resident portal, navigate to the top and select “profile settings”
- Click ‘Credit Reporting”
- Click the “Opt Out Credit Reporting” button
- Prisma will process the notification and the resident will be opted-out of the program
There will be a delay in credit reporting. On the last day of each month, Prisma will notify Pinata of on-time rent payments. Pinata will then report this data to credit bureaus on the 15th of the following month. For example, a rent payment made on 10/01/25 will be reported to credit bureaus on 11/15/25.
Please note: credit reporting is an optional add-on feature available to property management companies (PMCs) who choose to upgrade their Prisma package. It is not automatically included in the Prisma platform. Only properties that have opted into the credit reporting upgrade will offer this program to their residents.
